What's fairly new in 2018 however is that Paul Adams has taken up the slack and is pushing for a class action law suit. He also has put out a petition to sign.

Class action is unlikely to fly and if successful against all odds would not be good for religious freedom in general. Its not the Christian thing to sue but it could help to facilitate more honesty. The temple interview applies to GA's just as well: "Are you honest in your dealings with your fellowmen?" - No double standards ! Publicity will stir the pot. Many unwinnable have been filed.
The church plays tactical games with its essays. Some are very hard to find. More info here.
