Although I am a fellow German I have found it impossible to find out more about Dieters private thoughts on how to doubt your doubts and where he wants the Church to go. It's the best kept Secret of a Church that has institutionalized secrecy as a prerequisite for salvation (exaltation). And its hard to reconcile that with the honesty, openness and bluntness that Jesus has personified.
Has anybody succeeded in doubting doubts relating to hard facts and scientific evidence ? Please tell me how !
Maybe he meant practice denial, ignore your doubts, don't think of them, maintain your faith at the risk of self delusion, only think of good things, repeat the mantra Joseph was a prophet of God no matter what sin he committed and he is forgiven and stands approved by God and has entered into his Glory. The leaders say so, follow the leaders and don't loose your salvation.
After doubting your doubts what remains real ? If Dieter was genuine with his tack line then I can live with it and become a practitioner. This means to sort the legitimate and useful doubts from the unjustified doubts to arrive at a justified level of certainty in God that allows us to be reasonable and experientially believers. For me there is always enough proof and verification to be a theist. I could not reasonably be an atheist. I know too much, but my Christian faith is now under scrutiny as well because Mormonism is regardless of any contaminations a Christian Religion, it just is not the Christian Religion it claims to be.
