Nope ! An estimated 100 000 max pa may be closer to the truth. No reliable statistics exist, but analysis shows a fair number of unaccounted church members. I have heard it has become harder again to be struck from the record if you are not a high profile member that is perceived to be an antagonist. In my own immediate family I have a son that has renounced the LDS faith but not bothered to get is name off the LDS record. Then there others that just drift away for some reason or another. The number that leaves suddenly after the ongoing deception has just become too much to stomach and they are first very upset of course. And then there are those who know the LDS foundational claims are without substance, but choose to stay to practise a basic Christian faith within hoping that one day the LDS church will follow the RLDS churches playbook. The RLDS church has made the transition to Christianity without any significant loss in Membership and the once lost where actually the fundies, so they probably kept their faith in Jesus with a little stronger Mormon slant.

I stopped attending the LDS church in 1995 and formally left in 2014 as a matter of integrity cause I would no longer live the extensions of the Mormon faith. I love and respect Mormons and wish them well on their path to keep seeking the truth that matters most and trust that the LDS church will continue to further reform from within. We have already seen signs of the rolling back of some masonic tenets of the faith. Is the Mormon foundational story confined to the realms of the imaginary with eternal truth embedded in fiction ? Then you are on a path of exploring deeper spiritual truth ! Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life John 14:6 Videos & WebsitesSupport Site IRR Archives
